Saturday July 22nd, 1:00 – 2:30 PM
Garth Robertson will be leading a relaxing and restorative Sacred Sound Bath. Be guided through an inner journey with the help of many ancient sounds from around the globe. Instruments will include chimes, Tibetan bowls, flute, guitar, overtone singing, sansula, shruti box, harmonica, frame drum, didgeridoo, gong, and tuning forks.
A large portion of the proceeds of this workshop will go back to the Living Arts Collective to help them with the fundraiser for the new floor. Come be charitable!!
Price: Suggested $10-30 donation. No one turned away for lack of funds.
You may receive this experience in whatever way feels the most authentic to you. Sitting up, laying down, gentle yoga, and light movement are all acceptable in the context of staying aware of your neighbors experience. The floor is sprung, so dancing may be noticable to the group. If you choose to lay down, please bring whatever you need to be comfortable on the floor. There are a couple yoga mats in the space, but please bring your own if you have it.
Every object has a natural vibratory rate: its resonance. When we are in a state of health, the body projects an overall harmonic of health. External frequencies along with intention can be used to support and return both body and spirit to this optimal state. Garth Robertson has been making music and using sound as a modality for self-healing for over 20 years.
