Saturday, September 29th, 8pm – 1am

This weekend is filled with unicorns! It’s our “Zouk Weekender” featuring workshops by Zan on Sunday, and it’s PRIDE festival in the Triangle! Our Saturday Zouk Fusion partner dance is Rainbow Pride themed, features dance demos, guest DJs highlighting tracks from queer musicians, snacks and drinks, local and out-of-town dancers, and more!

Free lesson from 8-9 pm. Extended dance hours: 9 pm til 1 am. Party snacks. Dance demo at ~11.

Please note this month’s dance is at the Living Arts Collective upstairs dance studio (w/ a beautiful sprung wood dance floor!). There is street parking, plus parking lots in front and behind.

Cost of entry:
$10 general
$7 student, military, senior, low-income, Pride attendee, LAC member

Music: All Zoukable, with sensual bachata, kizomba and blues/fusion mixed in. If you’ve got more of a blues/fusion free-flowing dance background, don’t worry, you’ll be able to groove to all the music! And if you’re eager to learn more “steps”, “moves” and “patterns” that make up Zouk, come early for the lesson and ask experienced dancers to help you out – we’re friendly here!
