Exciting announcement… Aubrey and Bruce, the founders + facilitators of LAC, are getting married! People have inquired about how to show their support and care for the newlyweds. As the LAC is in process of looking for land for a longtime home for events and retreats, Contributions/Sustainerships to the LAC are requested. Afro-Cuban Shekere & Dance Workshops
with Vladimir Espinosa & Bradley Simmons!

Sunday Sep 24th 3:30 pm – 6:15 pm

Shekere workshop with master percussionist Baba Bradley Simmons from 3:30 – 4:30
and Afro-Cuban dance with Vladimir Espinosa from 4:45 – 6:15.

General Admission: $20 per participant per class or
$30 for both classes

Set You Free – Electronic Music, Art & Wellness Retreat

Friday Sep 29th – Mon Oct 2nd
Lakeside Retreats 4125 Mial Plantation Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610

Raleigh’s FIRST electronic dance music, art & wellness camping Retreat. This extraordinary experience will transport you to a realm where these elements intertwine with nature in perfect harmony, bringing together artists locally, regionally, and from across the globe! It will be a weekend full of wellness, music, and dance and a wonderful opportunity for community gathering and care.

Raleigh Ecstatic Dance will welcome us into the day on Saturday with clay body adornment and get the energy going with a DJ set by Snarz.

Living Arts Collective will then melt us into a Living Arts Dancewave on Sunday starting with a live multi-instrumental sound journey and gently guided movement experience by XY//PHLØ and aubrü røze.

Raspberry Community Jam at Soil & Sky Fest

A music and arts festival in rural Saxapahaw, North Carolina HEADLINED BY THE COLLECTION, PLUS Raspberry Jam will facilitate a community music opportunity. Music, dancing, local food and beer, non-alcoholic tiki bar sky gazing, and more.

Living Arts Dancewave – Every Sunday @LAC

Living Arts Dancewave – Every Sunday @LAC
Living Arts Dancewaves strive to create an inclusive space for people to move freely and express themselves creatively. Participants may experience the euphoria of music, rhythm, and connection with themselves, others, and their environment.

Over the course of 90 minutes, live and/ or curated music is woven together in a wave format- supporting your arrival and embodiment process by starting slow, building to a peak, and then returning to silence.

1:11pm Closing Harvest Circle followed by Restoration of the Space
